Beavertown Smog Rocket Pulled Pork Rolls

Puff pastry… Aint nobody got time for that! If Jamie Oliver aint doing it then I certainly aint making puff pastry from scratch! This is why this recipe is super easy and will blow your buddies taste buds to next week. I have already done the Smog Rocket pulled pork recipe but I have used it again for this recipe, you could also use any stout or porter to be honest. Every year at work we do a Christmas lunch where everyone who is taking part either makes some food or pays to

    Beavertown Brewery – Tempus Project

It is crazy to think that it was nearly three years ago that I was stood in a newly opened Billericay Brewing Co courtyard listening to Logan Plant talk to no more than a dozen people, telling us about the beers he was brewing in Hackney under the name Beavertown. Fast forward to now and Beavertown have grown into a world recognised name, had three different brewing addresses, sell out events in minutes and has a huge loyal fan following, which even includes (spoiler alert!)

Beavertown Smog Rocket Pulled Pork Burger Recipe

I swear down this slow cooker has changed my life! I am loving the all day Sunday cooking sessions and the results it brings. This recipe has been on my mind for a while, so with an empty bank holiday ahead of me I thought I would finally go out and get some cans of Smog Rocket and test out the idea. There is three parts to this recipe, the Smog Rocket BBQ sauce, the Slaaaaw and the pulled pork. I done the Smog Rocket BBQ sauce a few nights before I cooked the pork, this way

Beavertown Brewery – Double Chin 8.5%

In 2006 Leyton Orient beat Fulham in the FA Cup 2-1 in what was to be one of the most memorable games of my generation thus far. A reward for that win was a fourth round draw away at another London premiership club (at the time) Charlton. I was super excited as one of my good friends at the time was a Charlton fan and I had never seen us play them before. Unfortunately I had to wait a few years to see us play at The Valley. Due to an incredibly rare bad decision from (in my e

    Beavertown Brewery Opening

Today saw Beavertown brewery and tap room open up to the public for the first time. I am a huge fan of Beavertown and their beers and even though everyone I knew and their aunt was busy today I wanted to pop down and check out the new gaff which is now situated in Tottenham Hale. This is also my first live post from my phone to excuse and layout problems or errors! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the best pair of baps I have ever seen…  Two complimentary pulled pork s

Dukes Brew & Que, Haggerston London

In the build up to my birthday my girlfriend asked if there was anything I wanted as a present. For some time now I have wanted to experience the highly rated ribs from Dukes Brew & Que, so it seemed a perfect moment to be treated to some serious BBQ meaty goodness! All it takes is a quick Google image search to discover the huge beautiful sights of the ribs you can eat at Dukes! Monstrous beef ribs the size of your forearm, wonderful pork ribs and all variations of the BBQ m

Beavertown Brewery – Barley Champagne EDIT *APPLELATION*

Way back last year Billericay Brewery put on a meet the brewer night with Logan from Beavertown, it was an awesome night and you can read about it here. On the night I bought a freshly brewed Barley Champagne, we had tried it on the night and it was new so I bought a bottle. What with going a little mental over the Christmas period when it came to buying beers it meant that still now in March I have loads of beers in my cellar (the space under my desk for my Technics 1210s!).

When Beavertown came to Billericay Town

This Friday night just gone me and around 20 lucky beer drinkers were treated down to The Essex Beer Shop in Billericay for an interesting and up close lesson on the world of Beavertown Brewery. Beavertown brew their beers in Hackney East London which once upon a time in Victorian London was called the De Beauvoir area, which was then referred to by the old Cockneys as Beavertown! The original set up was in the kitchen of their pub Dukes Brew and Que but now has moved to fish
